Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a ROW Agent to support permission, acquisition, and title research for construction projects. The role involves researching land ownership, negotiating leases, and handling permits under supervision.

You will coordinate with landowners and internal teams to ensure compliant right of way transactions. You will perform due diligence, review plans, and prepare detailed reports, while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills to manage field and office

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in Right of Way.
• Good understanding of laws, rules, and policies related to right of way/real property acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Researches, negotiates, and elects to purchase short- and long-term leases of land agreements and right of way for construction.
• Searches for and determines various land ownership interests and locations of owners.
• Oversees land-related legal issues including transfers of titles and deeds, mortgage concerns, and zoning.
• Prepares daily activity reports and complex negotiation reports for easements, damage settlements, and permit acquisitions.
• Performs due diligence to ensure accuracy of land rights and identify deficiencies requiring action.
• Serves as liaison with landowners/tenants on ownership, easement rights, damage claims, and access issues.
• Reviews third-party development plans and right of way records to identify conflicts.
• Maintains up-to-date status with supervisor to ensure assignments follow client procedures.
