Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Texas is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer/Task Lead to manage roadway design teams on highway projects across the Central Region. You will apply technical expertise, supervise production, planning, and reporting, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements include BS/MS in Civil Engineering, 7+ years in highway design, TX P.E. license, and proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoad Designer; AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• TX P.E. license is required.
• Highway/roadway design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design teams on highway projects.
• Coordinate production, planning, and project management tasks.
• Mentor staff and support career development.
• Review shop drawings and project documentation.
• Perform field observations and data analysis.
• Contribute to progress reports and client coordination.
• Ensure compliance with specs and regulations.
