Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer/Task Lead in Texas to manage roadway design teams on highway projects. You will apply engineering expertise to deliver designs and drawings, supervise production work, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and multiple business units.

Requirements include a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of roadway design experience, TX P.E. license, and proficiency with MicroStation or OpenRoad Designer; AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design experience.
• DOT experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• MicroStation, Open Road Designer.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Applies standard engineering practices in planning, design, and production of drawings.
• Supervises the production of drawings and prepares reports or permit materials.
• Performs data collection, calculations, and feasibility assessments for design options.
• Reviews construction shop drawings and supports project progress reporting.
• Performs field observations and feasibility analysis as needed.
• Supports project delivery across multiple business units and clients.
