Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Roadway Engineer / Project Manager in Richmond, VA to lead complex transportation design and project delivery.

Based in our Richmond office, you will mentor engineers, manage budgets and client relationships, and ensure compliance with VDOT and AASHTO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Virginia PE license required
• 10+ years of roadway/highway design experience
• Experience with VDOT projects and standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design and complex projects including bus rapid transit.
• Serve as Project Manager or Roadway Task Lead.
• Act as Engineer of Record for plans and design exceptions.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
