Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to grow the Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead roadway design activities for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project management and delivery while ensuring design quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in transportation infrastructure, 5+ years leading roadway design, and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience; a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Must be able to lead a team and build client relationships.
• Strong communication skills and organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and integrate design efforts.
• Serve as an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantities.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients and meet deadlines.
