Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to join the Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead transportation engineering teams on DB/PDB pursuits and projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project management and delivery with a focus on timely, high-quality designs.

The position requires a PE, 10+ years in transportation design, and strong leadership and communication skills, with opportunities to work on local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.

Qualifications

• Current PE license; states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA preferred.
• 10+ years in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Utilize Microstation OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Lead in a group environment and maintain relationships with team and clients.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow professionally with each project.
