Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead roadway discipline engineering efforts on DB/PDB pursuits and projects, coordinating with discipline leads and integrating with project management to deliver designs that meet client goals.

The role requires a PE license with state preferences and extensive experience in transportation infrastructure design, along with proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current PE license; preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong team leadership and client relationship skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantity tasks.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow professionally with each project within a team environment.
