Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in the Mountain West region. You will lead roadway design efforts, coordinate with discipline leads, and drive project management for PDB/DB pursuits and projects.

Requirements include a PE license and 10+ years in transportation design, with 5+ years leading roadway design and 3+ years DOT DB/PDB experience. Strong leadership and client relation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation infrastructure design experience
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Ability to lead and manage teams and maintain positive client relationships
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet project deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients, staff, and management
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines
• Grow personally and professionally while delivering designs and drawings that support client goals
