Job summary

Horrocks, a leading Design-Build transportation firm, seeks a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to oversee roadway teams and project delivery in the Mountain West. You will lead design for freeways, interchanges, and highways, coordinating with other discipline leads and clients to ensure timely, high-quality outputs for DB/PDB pursuits.

Ideal candidates have a PE license (preferred in ID), 10+ years in transportation design, 5+ years leading roadway design, 3+ years DOT DB/PDB experience, and

Qualifications

• Current PE license in preferred states (UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA).
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead teams and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication, organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients, staff, and management.
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines.
• Grow personally and professionally with each project while supporting client goals.
