Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an experienced Roadway Engineer to join our team. You will work with a team on planning and design of transportation projects in PA, DE and MD, including intersections, alignments, roundabouts, interstates, and bike/pedestrian facilities.

Candidates should have a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license is preferred, and 5–10 years of roadway experience. Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• PE license preferred.
• 5–10 years roadway engineering experience.
• Able to communicate clearly at all levels.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design horizontal and vertical road alignments.
• Develop roadway plans and profiles.
• Maintain traffic designs and construct plans.
• Prepare estimates and technical reports.
