Job summary

Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP (WRA) seeks an experienced Roadway Engineer/Project Manager for our downtown Philadelphia, PA office. The role requires design and project management experience on PennDOT projects across eastern PA with a broad client base including PennDOT, PA Turnpike, City of Philadelphia and PA municipalities.

Responsibilities include designing horizontal and vertical alignments, roadway plans, traffic maintenance, construction documents, cost estimates and technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Minimum 16 years roadway and project management design experience in Pennsylvania.
• Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer.
• Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
• Excellent professional reputation and communication skills.
• Experience in business development and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design horizontal and vertical alignments; develop roadway plans and profiles.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications and cost estimates; develop technical reports.
• Maintain traffic design and Roadway safety elements; manage multiple projects.
• Manage and mentor staff; participate in business development activities.
