Job summary
Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP (WRA) seeks an experienced Roadway Engineer/Project Manager for our downtown Philadelphia, PA office. The role requires design and project management experience on PennDOT projects across eastern PA with a broad client base including PennDOT, PA Turnpike, City of Philadelphia and PA municipalities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).
- Minimum 16 years roadway and project management design experience in Pennsylvania.
- Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer.
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
- Excellent professional reputation and communication skills.
- Experience in business development and ability to work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Design horizontal and vertical alignments; develop roadway plans and profiles.
- Prepare construction plans, specifications and cost estimates; develop technical reports.
- Maintain traffic design and Roadway safety elements; manage multiple projects.
- Manage and mentor staff; participate in business development activities.
