Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX, is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator, Load Planning. This role translates customer orders into actionable transportation plans, coordinating with brokerage operations, carrier teams, and internal stakeholders to balance customer requirements, capacity, and cost.

You will manage order entry, develop efficient load plans, monitor freight, and adjust plans to improve utilization and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, load planning, dispatch, or related operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer transportation orders accurately and timely into TMS.
• Plan loads based on shipment requirements, routing, capacity, and priorities.
• Develop load plans to maximize truck utilization while meeting service requirements.
• Coordinate with brokerage operations and carrier teams to ensure executable loads.
