Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Manager, Brokerage Operations in Lancaster, TX to lead trucking brokerage day‑to‑day, optimize load planning, and ensure safe, profitable freight moves. You will drive service excellence, coach teams, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires 5+ years in truck brokerage or 3PL with leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong knowledge of FTL/LTL markets and TMS systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in truck brokerage, transportation management, or 3PL with strong FTL/LTL/spot market understanding.
• 3–5 years of leadership in operations/dispatch management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily trucking brokerage operations: load planning, dispatch, carrier selection, on-time performance.
• Monitor workflow to meet customer requirements, costs, and policies.
• Coach and develop staff to improve performance, collaboration, and accountability.
• Analyze KPIs (margin, cost per load, carrier utilization) and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service for seamless handoffs and issue resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers for reliability and growth.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
