Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX, is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator, Dispatch. You will coordinate complex daily dispatch activities for drivers, contractors, and partner carriers, ensuring safe, timely and efficient freight movement while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 3–5 years of dispatch experience, strong English communication, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in truck dispatch, transportation operations, or logistics coordination required.
• Experience coordinating complex freight movements, including time‑sensitive or high‑value shipments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and transportation compliance.
• Proficient in TMS, dispatch software, and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex daily dispatch activities for company drivers, contractors, and partner carriers.
• Independently manage assigned customer accounts and transportation activities to meet expectations and requirements.
• Evaluate transportation needs and determine appropriate services, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor shipment activity and address service disruptions to minimize impact.
• Serve as primary operational contact for customers, drivers, contractors, and carriers.
• Provide onboarding and training support for new dispatch team members.
