Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team in Portland, OR or Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on developing risk management frameworks, executing quantitative analyses, and guiding contingency planning for complex projects.

The successful candidate will lead risk workshops, maintain risk registers, and provide training to junior staff while collaborating with clients and project teams to improve risk-adjusted decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Finance, or related field.
7–10 years of experience in risk management, construction/project management, or contract/change management.
Knowledge of risk management standards (AACE, PMI, ISO 31000).
Experience in facilitating quantitative risk analysis (QRA) workshops.

Responsibilities

Serve as risk management expert on assigned project and manage risk performance.
Develop and implement risk framework/strategy aligned with best practices.
Lead quantitative risk analyses (QCRA/QSRA) and probabilistic assessments.
Maintain project risk registers and produce risk reports and forecasts.
Provide training to junior risk managers and staff.
