Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Project Controls team.

This role can sit in our locations in Texas, Utah, Tennessee, or Nevada and entails building and maintaining program schedules, cost estimates, and EVM tracking to support strong governance and reporting. You will manage PMIS platforms, coordinate with BI teams to ensure dashboards reflect accurate project data, and assist in vendor selection and change management on large-scale capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of cost controls and scheduling on large-scale capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of EVM, forecasting, and schedule management.
• Experience with PMIS platforms (e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data reporting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain program/project schedules; monitor contractor and consultant schedules, identifying cost and scheduling issues and recommending resolutions to the Program Manager.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections; support EVM tracking and reporting.
• Track and control project costs, including change management, cost coding, commitments, and accruals across active projects.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical path changes, and float; coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve variances.
• Administer cost management/PMIS platforms (e.g., e-Builder, Procore, or Autodesk Construction Cloud); track acquisition packages for reimbursement and support invoice review and processing.
• Produce regular cost and schedule progress reports for the Program Manager and PMO; ensure data feeding into Power BI dashboards is accurate and up to date.
• Support integration of cost and schedule data with Power BI reporting tools, coordinating with reporting/BI staff.
• Support vendor selection, contractor progress tracking, change order management, and project close-out reporting.
