Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the United States (Washington/Seattle area) seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead program controls for major transportation programs across multiple sites.

You will direct cost engineering, risk management, and scheduling with executive-level reporting. The role requires 10+ years in financial controls for transportation projects, expertise in EVM and PMIS tools (Primavera P6, Procore), and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 10+ years in financial controls, finance/accounting, and scheduling on large transportation/infrastructure programs.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of EVM, cost/schedule risk, and integrated master scheduling.
• Familiarity with state DOT programming processes (STIP, legislative capital requests).
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PMIS platforms (e-Builder, Primavera P6, Oracle EBS, Procore, Kahua) and scheduling software.
• Leadership to direct multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to present cost/schedule narratives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program controls for large transportation programs.
• Coordinate cost engineering, estimating, risk management, and planning across projects.
• Develop integrated master schedule, master risk register, and spend forecast.
• Lead cost and schedule risk assessments and translate costs into DOT processes.
• Interpret cost reports, forecasts, and trends to assess delivery impact.
• Maintain program risk registers and support mitigation and contingency planning.
• Evaluate change events and cost impacts with commercial teams; ensure quality across forecasts and reports.
• Lead monthly program reporting with integrated cost/schedule narratives for leadership.
• Partner with Technology on data management and PMIS modules for controls.
• Serve as SME to senior management on scheduling and earned value management.
