Job summary

Lusternational is seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to oversee risk for large-scale heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, and transit. You’ll quantify cost/schedule exposure, set contingency positions, and maintain a robust risk register aligned with funding agency standards.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in risk management for complex projects, CPM scheduling knowledge, and experience with Primavera/P6 and risk analytics tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management experience for large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops across project lifecycle.
• Experience running quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the program’s risk management plan, process, and governance framework.
• Facilitate risk identification workshops with staff, designers, and contractors.
• Quantify cost and schedule exposure and convert results into contingency recommendations.
• Analyze baseline schedules for logic and float integrity; verify exposure aligns with risk register.
• Track mitigation actions to closure and hold owners to dates.
• Evaluate changes, delays, and time-impact analyses to support negotiations.
• Review risk allocations in procurement and contracts; recommend terms.
• Reconcile risk position with forecasts and update dashboards and briefs.
