Job summary

Luster is seeking experienced Risk Managers to support major heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water facilities. You will manage the risk register, quantify exposure, and set contingency positions for funding agencies and boards.

Applicants with a background in scheduling, estimating, or construction management are favored; several risk and scheduling software tools are used in the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil/engineering management.
• 10+ years of risk management experience for large, complex heavy-civil projects.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops and maintaining a program risk register.
• Experience running quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the program’s risk management plan, process, and governance framework.
• Facilitate risk identification workshops with staff, designers, and contractors.
• Quantify cost and schedule exposure and recommend contingency.
• Analyze baseline schedule and updates for integrity and exposure.
• Track mitigation actions and ensure timely closure.
