Job summary

Truist is seeking a governance leader to drive enterprise-wide governance materials in the system of record. You will collaborate across the user base to implement multi-level governance structures and oversee risk governance reporting to business functions and committees.

The role sits on-site five days a week across listed locations, with no remote option. Ideal candidates have strong analytics, stakeholder management and familiarity with governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Communications or equivalent.
• 5+ years of financial services or risk management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills across functions and levels.
• Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication (verbal and written) and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative leadership and develop relationships across user base for governance materials system(s) of record.
• Support and develop the governance materials system(s) of record through relationship management and system administration.
• Support risk governance reporting by aggregating data and escalating issues to senior committees.
• Contribute to design and implementation of risk-based governance frameworks and materials assessment.
• Identify and monitor risk governance exceptions and emerging trends for remediation or escalation.
• Deliver stakeholder trainings and communications to support enterprise risk oversight.
