Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Senior Risk Control Consultant to provide expert risk assessments for large, complex accounts across multiple lines. You will partner with Underwriting to retain and grow profitable business, while building strong relationships with brokers and risk control specialists.

Expect 20–50% onsite field work with occasional long travel. The role requires seven years of safety/risk control experience, valid license, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and business acumen.
• Certifications such as ASP, CSP, ARM, CFPS are preferred.
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment is expected.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a field presence with customers, 20%–50% onsite travel.
• Partner with Underwriting to select and grow a profitable book of business.
• Build relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers.
• Complete risk assessments for large, complex accounts with high exposure.
• Write detailed risk assessment reports with clear recommendations.
• Evaluate customer needs through loss analysis to provide Risk Control solutions.
• Identify exposures and advise on corrective actions to mitigate losses.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging risk issues.
• Lead high-level projects impacting the Risk Control organization.
