Job summary

Travelers Canada is seeking a Sr. Risk Control consultant to assess hazards, controls, and management for large, complex accounts. You will write detailed risk reports and collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Brokers to service customers as a unified team.

You will travel as needed, maintain subject-matter expertise in specialty areas, and lead higher-level projects impacting the Risk Control organization. This role does not manage others.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in safety, risk control/management or related field.
• Valid driver's license and state certification where applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance industry and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field presence onsite with customers 20%–50% of the time.
• Partner with Underwriting to grow a profitable book of business.
• Develop reports communicating risk assessments and recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments for complex Construction accounts.
• Provide risk mitigation solutions using Travelers resources.
