Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Risk Control Sr Consultant, CAG, to apply advanced risk assessment expertise across multiple industries. You will work with clients to identify hazards, develop loss-control strategies, and support underwriters with actionable insights for pricing and account selection.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor's degree in EH&S or related fields, 6+ years of multiline risk control experience, and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S, construction mgmt, basic sciences, or related field.
• Six+ years of multiline risk control or risk management in property & casualty insurance.
• Certification in ASP/ARM/CSP/CFPS/CIH/CPE or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible field presence, 20–50% time with customers; travel may be required.
• Prepare and conduct technically detailed risk assessments of moderate to high complexity.
• Apply advanced consultative skills to implement risk control measures.
• Build collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers to improve team effectiveness.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices through training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
