Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Risk Management Manager to lead risk governance for the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice, partnering with FAS leadership to identify and address professional, regulatory, and operational risks. You will develop practical controls and training, working with GCO and outside counsel as needed to protect both the firm and its clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management, quality control, compliance, or a related function within a professional services organization.
• Working understanding of restructuring, bankruptcy, complex litigation, or other financial advisory engagements.
• Working knowledge of independence and conflicts-of-interest requirements for a professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk guidance to FAS teams across restructuring, bankruptcy, and complex litigation.
• Support ABC engagements with duties like creditor notices and claims administration.
• Advise on independence, conflicts, and disclosure for complex engagements.
• Develop and manage the Enterprise Risk Management program for ABC entities and FAS.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers on coverage questions and liaise with GCO on firm-wide policies.
• Oversee litigation matters against entities in the ABC portfolio.
• Deliver risk management training for FAS professionals.
• Maintain the risk register and report open risk items to leadership.
