Job summary

Zip Co Limited is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to shape repayment outcomes and collections strategy using SQL, Python or PySpark. You’ll own end-to-end analytics, turning data into actionable insights that improve repayment rates and optimize costs.

You’ll collaborate with risk teams and external partners, leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and influence senior stakeholders across Zip. A remote-first role with optional Manhattan office work is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, or Collections.
• 3+ years of relevant analytics experience may be considered with advanced degree.
• Proven analytics experience as a risk/data analyst, preferably in finance or lending.
• Data-driven with ability to influence decision-makers and drive improvements.
• Advanced SQL; Python or PySpark preferred; experience with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics on initiatives to improve repayment rates and optimize collection costs.
• Develop insights to monitor performance, identify trends, anomalies, and risks.
• Identify optimization opportunities in external debt collections and monitor agency performance.
• Own end-to-end analytics and collaborate across Zip and partners.
• Drive AI-enabled approaches to improve decisions and outcomes.
