Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with relevant rigging experience.
• Current CCO Signalperson certification.
• Current CCO RIG-I and RIG-II certifications.
• Documented employer qualification for rigging duties.
• Experience with lift plans, site procedures, and safety protocols.

Mansioni

• Lead hazard reviews for nonroutine lifts and assess load factors and weather impacts.
• Review lift packages and site conditions for weight, CG, clearances, and sequence.
• Determine load weight and CG; plan sling-leg tension and load distribution.
• Select and verify multi-leg systems and lifting attachments for capacity and safety.
• Develop rigging arrangements for difficult loads and protect lifting points.
• Lead pre-lift briefings and coordinate signals, radio language, and handoffs.
• Direct test lifts, balance corrections, and controlled final placement.
• Coordinate with crane operators, safety personnel, and installation teams to avoid conflicts.
• Lead recovery or re-rigging if conditions change and document lessons learned.
• Identify needs for reviews and prevent unapproved changes to capacity or method.
• Inspect equipment and mentor Rigging Helper and Rigging 1 team members.
