M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Rigging professional to lead nonroutine lifts and complex load handling at our Burlington, MA area operations.

The Rigging 2 role validates load data, designs rigging solutions, and mentors junior crew while coordinating with crane operators and site teams to ensure safe, compliant lift execution. You will review manufacturer data, plan sling systems, lead pre‑lift briefings, and direct lifts through final placement, always adhering to safety protocols and project

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with relevant rigging experience.
• Current CCO Signalperson certification.
• Current CCO RIG-I and RIG-II certifications.
• Ability to lead nonroutine rigging work in the field.
• Knowledge of lift plans and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard reviews for nonroutine lifts and assess conditions.
• Review lift packages, data, and site conditions for weight and CG.
• Develop and verify rigging arrangements for complex loads.
• Lead pre-lift briefings and plan signal coverage.
• Direct test lifts and final placement with coordination of crews.
• Mentor Rigging Helper and Rigging 1 personnel.
