RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal Processing for the Tucson, AZ site.

You will design, prototype, and validate RF signal processing algorithms used across products, calibrating and denoising sensor data, enabling object detection, tracking, and sensor fusion. You will lead and mentor engineers, participate in all development phases from startup to live-fire testing, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure mission success.

Formación

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Signal processing experience in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, or Acoustic domains.
• C, C++, C#, or Java programming experience.
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Experience leading others in an engineering environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a signal processing SME, technical leader, and project owner.
• Develop, modify, and test RF algorithms and models using simulations.
• Test RF models in lab and field environments to verify performance.
• Contribute in design reviews, and brief customers on analyses and results.
• Oversee a technical team or engineering project and mentor engineers.
