RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – EO/IR or RF Signal Processing in Tucson, AZ. You will design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF/EO-IR signal processing algorithms used across RTX products and initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to hardware-software integration while supporting complex missile systems programs. Onsite role in Tucson with potential for security clearance interactions.

Formación

• Typically requires a Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Signal processing experience in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, and/or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Java; algorithm design and optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Apply advanced to expert knowledge of signal processing to support missile systems program objectives.
• Use and modify simulations for design, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of signal processing algorithms.
• Test, verify, and validate sensor models and signal processing performance in lab environments.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware and participate in all development phases from startup to live-fire testing.
• Mentor multiple team members and share knowledge across the group.
