Job summary

RTX's Processing, Guidance and Controls (PG&C) Center in Tucson, AZ seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer – EO/IR or RF Signal Processing to design, prototype, integrate and test advanced signal processing algorithms for missile systems.

You will contribute across development phases, verify performance, and mentor teammates in a collaborative, onsite environment. Candidates should have a STEM degree with 5+ years of EO/IR/RF signal processing, experience in C or OO languages, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 5 years of signal processing experience in EO/IR, RF, sonar, or acoustic domains.
• Experience with C programming or OO languages (C++, C#, Java).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance prior to start; potential for higher program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate signal processing algorithms and models for missile systems.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware and support live-fire testing and design reviews.
• Mentor others and share knowledge across disciplines.
