RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal Processing for its PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ. You will design, prototype, integrate, and assess RF signal processing algorithms used across products and new initiatives.

The role involves leading a technical team, guiding model development, and collaborating in all development phases from startup to live-fire testing. This onsite position requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in RF domains.

Formación

• Typically requires a Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience with EO/IR, RF, Sonar, and/or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a technical team on complex RF signal processing programs.
• Develop, test, and validate RF algorithms and models in simulations and hardware environments.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate signal processing with guidance and control systems.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and project execution for high-impact initiatives.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders through technical briefings and reviews.
