Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal Processing to join the PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ. You will design, develop, prototype, integrate, and evaluate RF signal processing algorithms used across products and new business initiatives.

You will lead in simulations, test environments, and collaborations across disciplines, mentoring engineers and guiding technical reviews. This onsite role requires strong experience in signal processing and the ability to obtain security

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and extensive prior experience.
• Signal processing in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with C/C++/C#, Java for algorithm development.
• Experience leading others in an engineering environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget, schedule, and execution of complex program objectives.
• Develop and modify simulations for RF algorithms and models.
• Test and validate RF models in lab/field environments per requirements.
• Contribute to design reviews, peer reviews, and technical briefings.
• Oversee a technical team or engineering project.
