RTX seeks a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal Processing for the Tucson, AZ site. The role focuses on designing, developing, prototyping, integrating, testing, and evaluating RF signal processing algorithms and models used across RTX products and initiatives.

You will lead a technical team, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure performance meets requirements from start-up through live-fire testing. Onsite position in Tucson with DoD clearance requirements.

Formación

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with EO/IR, RF, Sonar, and/or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with C programming or OOP with C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization.
• Experience managing or leading others in an engineering environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a signal processing subject matter expert and lead complex program objectives.
• Use and modify simulations for RF algorithms and models development.
• Test, verify, and validate RF models and signal processing performance.
• Collaborate across development phases from start-up to live-fire testing.
• Oversee a technical team and mentor engineers.
