Job summary

RTX is seeking an RF Design Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. The work centers on RF hardware development for radar and datalink applications, including transmitters, receivers and exciters, plus CCA design with RF/mixed signals.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to characterize components in a lab setting, perform RF validation, and ensure robust RF hardware integration for challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of relevant RF experience.
• Experience with RF design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF product simulations and RF fabrication.
• Familiarity with RF design tools: Mentor DX, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware and RF routing.
