Job summary

Keysight in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a senior RF Test Engineer to shape how high-frequency microcircuits are tested and brought into production. You will work closely with design, software, and manufacturing teams to develop test methods, improve measurement accuracy, and lead product robustness from prototyping to manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot complex RF and analog issues, apply lab expertise, and guide cross-functional teams, with the role based fully onsite in Santa Rosa, California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with strong RF/microwave/analog theory.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in microcircuit testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of analog, RF, and microwave circuits with hands-on testing experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics and block diagrams, investigate failures and root causes.
• Hands-on experience with measurement instruments (O-scopes, network/spectrum analyzers).
• Ability to work independently on complex problems and collaborate with design, software, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead microcircuit test development from R&D prototypes through production.
• Influence RF, microwave, and mmWave designs for manufacturability and high yields.
• Support prototype development and evaluate performance and reliability.
• Design and transfer mmWave test processes into production.
• Troubleshoot complex analog and RF issues and drive resolution.
• Develop test methods to reduce measurement uncertainty and increase throughput.
• Collaborate with R&D to implement design-for-excellence principles.
• Define test requirements and automate tests in collaboration with software engineers.
• Create and maintain test system diagrams and documentation.
• Use statistical data analysis to establish production test specs and limits.
• Support transfers to other sites by documenting processes and training engineers.
