Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an IC Test Engineer to develop on‑wafer test solutions for high-frequency ICs. You will craft test plans, automate measurements, and collaborate with design and process teams to ensure robust characterization and screening of internally designed state‑of‑the‑art ICs.

The role requires hands‑on experience with RF/mm‑wave testing, proficiency in C#/C++/C/Visual Studio, and the ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with mm-wave IC characterization thesis or experience.
• 3+ years of RF characterization of active and passive components and use of test equipment (network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
• Software development/SW programming proficiency in C#, C++/.NET, C, Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and procedures for ICs, including defining test methodologies and creating test programs.
• Perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using test stations and other tools.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues; provide reports and recommendations.
• Debug test failures with in-house design and process engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for test efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and actions.
