Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a System Integration Engineer to drive cross-functional design across hardware, software, calibration, and verification. You will collaborate with Product Management, IST, and customers to translate requirements into cohesive, high-performing systems.

The role requires 10+ years in RF/digital design, system verification, and leadership, with strong expertise in RF measurement techniques and test equipment. Travel to training sites is possible.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years in RF/digital design, firmware, hardware control, and verification.
• Experience leading engineers on complex projects.
• Ability to work across product development functions.
• Expertise in RF measurement techniques, metrology.
• Knowledge of test equipment and RF block diagrams.
• Comfortable engaging with customers.
• Experience with C/C++/C#/Java/Python/Perl/Tcl (desirable).
• Proficiency in RF simulation tools: ADS, SystemVue, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements with Product Management and IST to impact design, manufacturability, and serviceability.
• Lead cross-functional design for system integration of hardware, software, calibration, and verification.
• Define hardware control, calibration, and alignment algorithms with NPI/OF teams.
• Define test criteria and ensure characterization meets specifications.
• Document designs with goals, theory, details, and troubleshooting.
