Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior IC Test Engineer to design on-wafer microwave tests and MMIC characterization. You will craft test solutions, write automation code, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-frequency ICs for advanced measurement platforms.

Required: 5+ years in on-wafer testing, RF characterization, and proficiency in C#/C++/C with Visual Studio; experience with ADS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with on-wafer test and probe calibration.
• RF characterization of active and passive components (S-parameters, TOI, P1dB, Noise Figure).
• Proficiency with test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
• Programming proficiency in C#, C++/.NET, C, Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans/procedures for ICs, including test methodologies and automation.
• Perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using custom test stations.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and issues; prepare detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot test failures; collaborate with design/process teams to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements; implement best practices for test efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions.
