Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Engineer to lead RF packaging and hardware design across antennas, RFCCAs, radomes, and test gear. You will steer multi‑discipline teams, set technology roadmaps, and ensure strong technical oversight, mentoring colleagues and coordinating with customers.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, and on-site work in Tucson with relocation considered. Salary range is disclosed and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• GD&T experience and RF product design lifecycle exposure.
• Ability to obtain interim security clearance and pursue program access.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF hardware design activities for antennas, radomes, CCAs, and test equipment.
• Guide multidiscipline teams, provide oversight, and define roadmaps.
• Perform trade studies and develop forward plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance.
• Communicate task status to leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Mentor employees and contribute to technical training across the organization.
