RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer for the Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ. You will design packaging for RF products, provide technical oversight, and help define technology roadmaps while coordinating with customers and program leadership.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on RF packaging experience, and the ability to obtain interim DoD clearances. This onsite position offers competitive compensation and relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of experience, or Advanced Degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Design and analysis for RF packaging (CCAs, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment) across product life cycle using 3D CAD.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Guide mechanical design activities involving RF hardware.
• Mentor and lead cross-disciplinary teams to leverage multi-domain strengths.
• Conduct trade studies to select best solutions and communicate plans with leadership.
