Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Effector RF Team in Tucson, AZ. You will contribute to architecture, analysis, design, and implementation of RF subsystems and sensors within missile products, lead small teams, and collaborate with government personnel and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• 8+ years of experience in RF subsystems or RF sensors.
• Experience interfacing across engineering disciplines to define RF subsystem requirements.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, and test RF sensors and subsystems across MHz to mmWave frequencies.
• Decompose system requirements into detailed RF subsystem requirements.
• Measure RF components/sensors/subsystems in chamber and range environments.
• Model and analyze link budgets, RF cascades, EMI, antenna patterns, and ADC characteristics.
