Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead RF mechanical design for antennas, radomes, CCAs, and RF test equipment. You will guide multidiscipline teams, shape technology roadmaps, and work with customers to refine requirements.

You will mentor engineers, oversee hardware validation, and contribute to modernization efforts while ensuring cost, schedule and performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 6+ years experience.
• Experience designing RF mechanical products and managing product life cycles.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities involving RF hardware.
• Lead multidisciplined teams and ensure schedules and costs are met.
• Conduct trade studies and develop forward plans with high quality output.
• Communicate task status to leadership and customers regularly.
• Fill roles as needed to support business unit success.
