CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead a growing team that develops high-performance RF electronics for communications. You will ensure technical quality and on-time delivery from architecture through production, while guiding the team across multiple sites, including Austin, Westminster, and El Segundo.

You will mentor engineers, drive DFM/DFT practices, and help establish standards and reusable architectures to scale the hardware organization for aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 9 years of direct board-level RF hardware engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
• 2–5 years of small-team technical leadership or engineering management experience.
• Deep expertise in RF board design including required digital and power electronics.
• Experience with DFM/DFT and transition from development to production.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for RF hardware development across the company.
• Establish and scale engineer-friendly RF hardware development processes and standards.
• Provide architecture reviews, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary SME engagement.
• Occasionally contribute to RF designs to close gaps in critical programs.
• Lead complex debug efforts and ensure designs are buildable at scale.
