Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead RF electronics teams across sites and product lines. You will provide technical ownership for board- and box-level RF designs and ensure on-schedule delivery of well-engineered hardware.

This front-line role combines leadership with hands-on expertise in RF design, architecture reviews, and collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to ensure manufacturability, testability, and reliability in aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of direct board-level RF hardware engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
• 1-3 years of small-team technical leadership or engineering management preferred but not required.
• Deep expertise in RF board design across digital and power electronics.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and design for test.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for RF electronics development across the company.
• Establish and enforce RF hardware development processes, templates, and layout best practices for dense PCBs.
• Lead architecture and design reviews with SME engagement across disciplines.
• Contribute to board-level RF designs and complex debug efforts.
• Ensure designs are buildable and testable at scale with DFM/DFT.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and test engineering to hand off to production.
• Drive design reuse and modular architectures across products.
