Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Senior Engineering Manager, Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware to lead a growing hardware team developing high-performance electronics for satellite communications. You will supervise architecture, reviews, mentorship, and ensure on-time delivery from design to production.

This role is a hands-off leadership position with close technical guidance across digital, RF, power, firmware, and mechanical disciplines, spanning Austin and Westminster sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in electrical/computer engineering.
• 7+ years in digital or mixed-signal hardware, aerospace preferred.
• Experience leading or coaching engineering teams.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor.
• Strong SI and timing understanding; DFx experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital/mixed-signal hardware engineering teams.
• Drive developer-friendly hardware processes, SI workflows, and standards.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and design risk.
• Occasionally contribute to board-level designs for critical programs.
• Guide complex debug of high-speed interfaces and FPGA/processor implementations.
• Ensure DFM/DFT for scale; manage handoff to manufacturing.
