CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead a growing team delivering high‑performance RF electronics for phased arrays, front‑ends, and software‑defined radios. You will guide architecture, reviews, and mentorship while fostering scalable processes and robust designs.

You’ll stay closely connected to engineering, providing technical leadership and coordinating across digital, RF, power, firmware, and mechanical disciplines to meet schedule and quality targets in

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of board‑level RF hardware engineering experience, preferably in aerospace environments.
• 2–5 years of small‑team technical leadership or engineering management experience preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers across disciplines.
• Deep expertise in RF board design and the related digital and power electronics.
• Experience with DFM/DFT and transition from development to production.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for RF electronics development company‑wide.
• Establish scalable RF hardware development processes, including signal chain design, simulation, and standards.
• Lead architecture/design reviews, identify risks, and mentor engineers across SME areas.
• Occasionally contribute to RF designs to close gaps in critical programs.
• Drive debugging efforts and ensure designs are buildable and testable at scale.
• Oversee handoff to manufacturing with manufacturing engineering and supply chain.
• Promote design reuse and modular architectures across products.
