CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead RF electronics teams across multiple sites and product lines. You will own board- and box-level RF designs, manage staffing and processes, and ensure high‑quality, scalable solutions for phased arrays and RF front‑ends in a fast‑growing aerospace startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 7+ years direct board-level RF hardware engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
• 1–3 years small-team technical leadership or engineering management preferred but not required.
• Strong expertise in RF board design and supporting electronics for RF systems.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT).
• Ability to lead rigorous technical reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain engineering integrity for RF electronics across the company.
• Scale and enforce RF hardware development processes and standards.
• Lead architecture and design reviews with SME engagement across disciplines.
• Contribute to RF board designs and debugging activities as needed.
• Ensure designs are buildable, testable, and scalable for production.
• Plan and manage staffing budgets, mentoring, and development paths.
