Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on RF & Wireless Hardware (Chip-Down Design) to own architecture and validation of sophisticated multi-transceiver systems powering body-worn devices. You will guide RF chipset selection, schematic design, PCB implementation and bring-up across mission-critical communications.

You will collaborate with Antenna, Systems, Mechanical and Firmware teams, handling RF coexistence, shielding, EMI/EMC and regulatory paths while driving design for

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded wireless hardware and/or RF electronics design experience.
• Experience with chip-down RF design and board-level integration of transceivers/modems.
• Experience with LTE/5G cellular, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth or similar wireless systems.
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Own board-level RF hardware architecture, integration and validation for multi‑transceiver systems.
• Lead schematic capture and PCB layout for RF transceivers, front‑end components and power.
• Address RF coexistence, interference, desense, grounding and EMI/EMC in compact devices.
• Drive bring-up, debugging, certification and mass production readiness.
• Collaborate with Antenna, Mechanical, Firmware and Systems teams to optimize RF performance.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with vendors and ODMs.
