Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Sr Advanced RF Engineer to design, implement and manage RF systems for aerospace applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and reports to the Director of Engineering.

Hybrid work is available after an initial onsite period, with 100% onsite for the first 90 days. You will lead RF circuit and antenna design, perform system analyses, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with DO-178B, EMC, and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• 6 years RF engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the RFIO interface layer between digital (FPGA/software) and RF subsystems.
• Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits, subsystems, and antenna systems for aerospace applications.
• Perform RF system analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into avionics and electronic systems
• Experience with FPGA or embedded software interfacing to RF hardware
• Strong debugging and integration skills across hardware and software domain
• Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
