Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Sr Advanced RF Engineer to design, implement and manage complex RF systems. You will work hybrid with 100% onsite for 90 days and report to the Director of Engineering, contributing across avionics integration and hardware/software interactions.

The role requires RF design expertise, FPGA interfacing, and hands-on testing with RF test equipment, plus mentorship of engineers in fast-paced aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6 years of RF engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
• Experience with RF circuit design, antenna theory, and EMC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the RFIO interface layer between digital (FPGA/software) and RF subsystems.
• Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits, subsystems, and antenna systems for aerospace applications.
• Perform RF system analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into avionics and electronic systems.
• Work with FPGA or embedded software interfacing to RF hardware.
• Demonstrate strong debugging and integration skills across hardware and software domains.
• Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on critical technology projects.
